Thumb up the speed of “Fukuang”! Fushun Waste-to Energy project put into operation

On the morning of December 11, the commencement operation ceremony of Fushun Waste-to-Energy project (hereinafter referred to as the project) invested by Sanfeng Environment was grandly held in the center control room of the project. Secretary of CPC Fushun Municipal Party Committee Lai He, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Mayor Gao Jian, Director of the Standing Committee of Municipal People's Congress Zhao Letao, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Secretary General of Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the municipal CPPCC Party Committee Yu Wanjun, Secretary of Party Committee and chairman of Fushun Mining Group (hereinafter referred as “Fukuang”) Li zhaofu, and Secretary of Party Committee and chairman of Sanfeng Environment Group Lei Qinping attended the ceremony. Li Zhaofu delivered a speech on behalf of investors.

Lai He announced the project was put into operation and ignited, received waves of applause. He said, on the basis of the project, Fukuang, as a large local state-owned enterprise, is supposed to play the leading role, make full advantage of leading position and industrial preponderance of Sanfeng Environment, build a circular economy industrial park, accelerate the construction of sludge harmless treatment and Fushun comprehensive bulky solid waste utilization base, implement Xi Jinping Thoughts on Ecological civilization, and promote concrete practice of green, circular and sustainable development.

The project covers an area of 140 mu, with a daily treating capacity of 1,200 tons of municipal solid waste, equipped with two 600 tons/day waste incineration production lines and two 15MW turbo-generator sets. It treats about 438,000 tons of solid waste per year and generate 160 million KWH on-grid electricity yearly as well. The project is jointly invested and constructed by Fukuang, Sanfeng Environment and Yijin Shanbang Company. During the process of advancing the project, Fukuang, as a local large state-owned enterprises, played the leading role and made great good use of its project comprehensive construction ability, coordinated the government and other parties, in the manner of scientific control and strict implement, overcame adverse effects of winter severe cold weather and the COVID-19 pandemic, etc, leaded all staff to work day and night, with first-class management, first-class quality, first-class speed, and ensured the smooth project construction and took only 500 or more days to complete the project construction.

Next, Sanfeng Environment will comply with "high quality, high standard" requirement, provide strong professional operational support for the project, to realize the waste treated in harmless, reducing, and recycling ways, make efforts to build the project as a garden-like modern factory in northeast China, to maximize social benefit, environmental benefit and economic benefit and make greater contribution to Fushun's social and economic development.
